GREG WISE

Face: PRINCELY
Body: CLASSICALLY TRAINED
Arms: SENSIBLE
Personality: GEORDIE CHARMER
Distinguishing features: CHEEKBONES TO DIE FOR
Attainability: MARRIED TO EMMA THOMPSON

Here are the main reasons Greg Wise is a dude: 1) He is married to a fiercely intelligent and talented woman who is far, far more successful than he is; 2) He’s totally cool with this. Yep, no whining, sniveling, ‘…but I feel emasculated, boo hoo’ crap from Mr Wise. He is unbelievably handsome as well — perfectly formed bone structure, eyes made from melted chocolate, tousled locks that have now turned a wonderfully rich shade of pewter, and a tall elegance that means he looks incredible in period dress. Hence why I’ve included a photo of him in his most swoonsome role, as the devious cad John Willoughby in Sense & Sensibility (with an Oscar-winning screenplay written by his future wife, Emma Thompson). He is a dedicated father to his daughter and adopted Rwandan son with Thompson, and is a trained architect. Schhhh-wiiiiiing.

(For Mhairi and Lesley — two of the best women EVER xx)

WOULD. Like twice, before breakfast. Then he could design us an amazing treehouse sort of thing, and probably build it himself. Excellent xxx

I used to live with someone who went to school (possibly drama school, I forget) with Wise and said he is, in fact, every bit as lovely a person as he seems…

Spot on post – I definitely concur. He looks devastatingly handsome in an army outfit on Homefront (Thursdays ITV1).
