As they get older, they just get more attractive; whereas pretty boys might lose the only thing they’ve got going for them (come on Efron, DON’T FUCKING LET ME DOWN). Murray’s deadpan delivery and bone dry humour have enthralled us for decades, yet as he ages he picks ever more interesting projects to work on. His creative relationship with Wes Anderson might be his most successful partnership to date. Like them or not, Anderson’s films are always beautifully made and scripted, and they suit Murray’s breviloquent and pithy personality. Rock on Bill.
